<aside> ℹ️ This manual entry is temporal, there are plans to make this process built-in in the app. But in the meantime, here are the instructions on how to restore a project data backup.
</aside>
Close Tabletop Creator (or at least, close the project) first.
Open the project folder in the file explorer and go to the **<PROJECT>**/backups
folder:
Make sure there is a backup for the current state of the project (or make a copy yourself).
[Optional] Compress a new .zip file of the **<PROJECT>**/data
folder of your project folder.
Delete all the files inside the **<PROJECT>**/data
folder of your project folder.
Select the backup .zip file you want to restore (check the date and time in the name).
Unzip all the files inside the **<PROJECT>**/data
folder of your project folder.
Open the project again in Tabletop Creator. The project should have been successfully restored.
<aside> ⚠️ My project doesn’t load after this or all the blueprints/sets are missing!
Make sure your **<PROJECT>**/data
folder looks like this:
There should be two folders named blueprints
and sets
and those json files.
